The Environments link opens up a list of your linked runtime environments. Clicking on a runtime environment will provide more information about it.

A runtime environment is a computing resource that can execute RPA tasks. These computing resources could be one of the following:

  • a PC running the Robocorp App process
  • a pool of PCs running the Robocorp App process
  • predefined Robocorp hosted cloud runtime environments (Docker)

The Robocorp App is a background service that enables the use of a machine to run robots triggered by Robocorp Cloud.

The Robocorp App is always active on the target machine and connected to one workspace in Robocorp Cloud to enable robot runs from that workspace.
